Advanced Petroleum Production Operations, A.A.S.


The Advanced Petroleum Production Operations Associate of Applied Science degree is designed to enhance the knowledge and skills of those currently employed in the oil and gas industry. Students must have a minimum of two years of industry experience and be currently employed in the oil and gas industry to obtain the degree.

Completion of the degree requires a total of 60-61 credit hours. Students must complete all General Education and Core requirements, as well as a total of 5 credit hours of approved elective courses. Students may substitute up to 4 credit hours of the Optional Oil and Gas Industry Training classes for any of the elective ENER courses.

A student must earn a grade of C or higher in all courses to obtain the degree.
