PTAP-211 Neurological Rehabilitation 3 This course will build upon the knowledge of neuroanatomy and patient care skills and focus on evidence-based neurological rehabilitation approaches to assist the client/patient across the lifespan to gain/regain functional movement and, in turn, improve their quality of life. Students will learn to analyze and treat clients/patients with movement dysfunction caused by neurological insult and following the plan of care; perform data collection; monitor patient health, illness, and response to treatment; interpret data for quality assurance; and complete accurate documentation following legal and ethical guidelines. Students will also learn to empower the client/patient to be actively engaged in their functional recovery. Prerequisites: PTAP-111 , PTAP-121 , PTAP-131 Offered: Fall, Spring - Faculty Permission Required Fee - Course/Program (F) $200.00
