PTAP-111 Patient Care Skills 4

This course provides an essential foundation for patient care skills. The focus will provide applicable skills to implement components of interventions; perform data collection; monitor patient health, illness, and response to treatment; interpret data for quality assurance; complete accurate documentation following legal and ethical guidelines. Skills include Vitals; Motor Function Training (Mobility, Transfers, and Gait); Wound Management; and Patient Education.
Prerequisites: Acceptance into the PTA Program.
