The Associate of Arts in Special Education is intended to transfer to a four-year Teacher Education program in Special Education. Students are strongly encouraged to check with their advisor and carefully coordinate their coursework at San Juan College with the requirements of the transfer institution. Your four-year degree program may require additional pre-approved credit hours within your chosen teaching field. A grade of C or better is required in all coursework for this program.
