Program Core Requirements: 6 Credits

Digital Storytelling course (ENGL 1160) will be a Program Core requirement, along with Introduction to Creative Writing (ENGL 2310).

Capstone: 3 Credits

This capstone course will utilize the college’s rubrics to assess the general education competency (writing, oral communication, information technology, critical thinking, scientific and mathematical reasoning) using student artifacts. A portfolio reflecting best practices will be submitted to a faculty committee for review and evaluation. This course must be completed during the student’s last semester prior to graduation.

Suggested Course Sequence for Full-Time Students:

Students have some flexibility in how they approach the sequence with Literature courses being offered in both Fall and Spring Semesters, and with being able to take Program Core courses and Creative Writing courses in any order (except ENGL 2999- Capstone).
