Marketing, A.A.

To be a successful marketing professional today requires not only an understanding of traditional marketing concepts but also skills working with new media. To that end, the Marketing online program at San Juan College establishes a strong foundation in business and marketing concepts and facilitates the building of key skills in digital, website, and social media marketing, along with other key areas such as display and video advertising, content, mobile, email, affiliate, and search engine marketing. Throughout this hands-on program, students build integrated marketing campaigns to reach and engage target audiences for small organizations and events. Students also work towards several industry standard certifications and finish with a capstone ePortfolio that showcases their talents, skills, and program work.

The Associate of Arts online degree is intended for transfer to a four-year baccalaureate granting institution. Those wishing to transfer to a baccalaureate granting institution and pursue a degree program in Marketing or Digital Marketing are strongly encouraged to check with their advisor and coordinate their coursework at San Juan College with the requirements of the transfer institution.
