MATH-097 Fundamentals of Algebra for STEM 5

Instructs students in the knowledge of algebra involving linear content: equations and functions in one variable and two variables. Topics such as expressions, equations, functions, exponents, two and three-dimensional geometric shapes, measurement conversions, percent, ratio and proportion, linear systems, polynomials, and factoring are also introduced. Review of basic operations of arithmetic applied to whole numbers, integers, fractions and decimals are included.
