COSD-121 Sterilization, Sanitat & Bacteriology II 1

This course identifies the Environmental Protection Agency, Occupational Safety and Health Administration, and cosmetology affiliations. Encourages students to understand the principles of infection and pathogenic versus non-pathogenic bacteria. Describes the differences between bactericidal, viricidal and fungicidal and how to prevent bacteria in a shop/salon environment. Describes Standard Precautions and explains the procedures involved.
