PTAP-221 Career Readiness 3 This course will discuss career development, lifelong learning opportunities, and the professional expectations in the role of a Physical Therapist Assistant. This course will focus on career planning; legal practice standards; federal and state regulations related to client/patient care and fiscal management; and providing services to meet the expectations of clients/patients, members of the physical therapy profession, and other providers as necessary in a manner that is consistent with the Guide for Conduct of the Physical Therapist Assistant and Standards of Ethical Conduct as outlined by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). Prerequisites: PTAP 141, PTAP 151, PTAP 161 Offered: Fall, Summer - Faculty Permission Required
