PTAP-161 Functional Neuroanatomy 3 This course provides an essential foundation for neuroanatomy to treat neurologically impaired patients and recognize the impact of health and fitness sustained over the lifespan on motor skill performance. Students will learn about the structures and functions of the central and peripheral nervous systems; sensory and motor development, motor learning, motor control, and motor behaviors that occur across the lifespan; and recognize the role of a PTA in neurological assessment and care. Prerequisites: PTAP 111, PTAP 121, and PTAP 131 Offered: Spring, Summer - Faculty Permission Required
