TEMS-2110 Intro to Tribal Governance, Sovereignty, and Regulations 3 This seminar will cover the impact of the Federal Indian Policy on tribal sovereignty and governance, as well as regulatory topics legislated and enforced at a federal, state, and tribal level. It also includes a foundational view of permitting processes, drilling plan requirements, zoning restrictions, and other controls implemented by tribal governments with the purpose of protecting tribal resources and utilizing the resources in the best interest of the tribe.
