EMSP-131 Advanced EMT Clinical/Field Internship 2 Serves as the clinical/field internship component of the Advanced Emergency Medical Technician curriculum. Provides an opportunity for Advanced EMT students to apply their new knowledge in real patient care situations. Course is a minimum of 75 hours but may require additional hours to complete required skills. Taken in combination with a theory course and a lab course. Prerequisites: Special Prerequisite: High school diploma or GED; Current NM EMT licensure or National Registry EMT certification valid through the duration of the program; Current AHA Basic Life Support or comparable healthcare provider CPR certification valid through the duration of the program.
