BIOL-224 Microbiology

This course is an introductory survey of microorganisms including bacteria, protists, fungi and viruses. The course is not limited to the study of pathogenic species and will include taxonomy, ecology, microbial physiology, and genetics. Course includes 1 credit hour lab component. Prerequisites: BIOL-121. High school biology within the last three years may be accepted. Offered: Fall, Spring
