Diesel On-Highway, A.A.S.

The Diesel On-Highway Certificate program is designed to introduce a student to the field of heavy duty on-highway diesel technology applications. Students will learn to work on a variety of Class 7 and 8 heavy duty truck systems. Successful completion of the certificate will prepare a student for a career as an entry level diesel technician troubleshooting and repairing medium/heavy duty on-highway trucks for a fleet or dealer. The academic part of the degree places a student in a better position for possible future career advancement. A student can start the degree program in any semester.

Notes: A grade of ‘C’ or better is required in all courses to receive the degree. Co-requisite classes must be taken together. Attendance is 25 percent of the final grade.
