Whether you are a current student who is signing up for your next semester’s classes or are just beginning your educational journey, I would like to welcome and thank you for choosing San Juan College, where we truly take your educational and future success to heart.
You can feel confident that you have chosen a college that has a proven track record of ensuring students achieve their goals. As an example, it is important to note that the College experienced a 44 percent change in the number of graduates over a one-year period - the largest percent change in the state. Of these graduates, 783 earned their degrees in a Science, Technology, Engineering, Math or Health (STEM-H) program. This is a 96 percent increase over the prior year and the largest percent increase of any institution in the state.
San Juan College is an institution made of wonderfully distinct individuals, all joined by a single purpose - Student Success. Our dedicated faculty and staff are committed to you as an individual. We offer an array of affordable programs and advanced technology to help you gain the competitive edge you need to succeed in the workforce - locally, regionally and nationally.
We know that completing your education is vital to your ability to provide for yourself and your family. According to statistics, individuals who have an associate degree earn an average of $10,000 more per year. San Juan College is the perfect place to help you accomplish that goal.
We also understand that today’s students require flexible options. Along with offering both face-to-face and online classes, you can also continue your education by earning your bachelor’s or master’s degrees right here at home through our partnerships with other state universities.
Challenges are all a part of succeeding, and we offer a range of support services to provide you with assistance when needed - from our Tutoring Center to our Veterans, Native American and Hispanic/Latino Centers. Through our Student Achievement Center, we connect students to community resources and help remove barriers that can sometimes get in the way of students completing their education.
Helping streamline students’ educational pathways is an initiative we are more focused on than ever. Recently, San Juan College was named as one of only 13 community colleges in the nation selected to participate in the American Association of Community College’s Pathways 2.0 project. Participation in this project will help us enhance your overall educational experience - from entering and moving through college, to continuing your education or advancing your career.
We are committed to providing each individual with the opportunity to reach their full potential. Your success awaits you! We look forward to being a part of your journey to excellence.
