The Associate of Science degree in General Science is intended for students who know they want to study science, but have not yet selected a field of study. Students will take courses that will provide an introduction to the fields of biology, chemistry, geology, and physics. The degree will provide a strong foundation to enable students to choose their field of study in preparation for transfer to a four-year baccalaureate granting institution.
Note: A student must earn a grade of C or higher in all courses to count toward the degree.

General Education Requirements: 33 credits
Gen Ed - Communications, Humanities, Social/Behavioral Science, Fine Arts
Gen Ed - Lab Science
Requirement included in Science-core classes.
Core Requirements: 24 credits
Approved Science Electives: 8 credits
Choose 8 credits from the following courses:
Elective: 3 credits
Take 3 credits from courses numbered 110 or higher.
