Building Trades - Finish Carpentry Certificate

Students who wish to take courses over a one year period in a specific area of building trades can choose from three certificate options. All three certificate options include coursework in building codes, cost estimating, and alternative building methods. The Finish Carpentry Certificate includes the overall finish of the inside of the structure with coursework in painting, door and trim installation, flooring installations, and cabinetry design and installation.
Notes:
- This program requires that the student purchase his/her own tools. To obtain a list of required tools, contact the program instructor.
- A student must earn a grade of C or higher in all courses required for the program in order to receive a degree or certificate.

Program Requirements: 29 credits
TOTAL CERTIFICATE REQUIREMENTS: 30 credits
