A student must earn a grade of C or higher in all courses to count toward the degree.

General Education Core for Associate of Science


Mathematics


The student’s Accuplacer score for Mathematics will determine placement in the Math sequence, beginning with MATH-115 Intermediate Algebra-Applications  through MATH-170 Pre-Calculus . Students who place at the beginning of the Math sequence will need to complete 4 additional credit hours of coursework to complete the degree requirements.

Social and Behavioral Science: 6-9 credits


(See General Education Requirements for Associate of Science Degrees ) (minimum of 6 credits, must have 15 credits total between Social/Behavioral Science area and Humanities/Fine Arts area)

Humanities and Fine Arts: 6-9 credits

Lab Science: (8 credits)


The General Education Lab Science requirement is included in the degree’s core courses.
