Cosmetology Instructor Certificate

This program is for students interested in teaching in the field of cosmetology. This certificate prepares a student to sit for appropriate state board exams qualifying them to teach at any state-approved cosmetology school. Students interested in this area should meet with the program director for more information about this certificate. To be eligible for the program, students must have a current New Mexico cosmetology license. The program meets the minimum of 1,000 clock hours required by the State Board.

Note: A student must earn a grade of C or higher in all courses required for the program in order to receive a certificate.
