The Advanced Petroleum Production Operations Associate of Applied Science degree is designed to enhance the knowledge and skills of those currently employed in the oil and gas industry.
Completion of the degree requires a total of 60-61 credit hours. Students must complete all General Education, Energy Core curriculum (ENGY courses) and Technical requirements. In addition the student may select 9 credit hours from three options provided.
A student must earn a grade of C or higher in all courses to obtain the degree.

Select 9 credits from the following: MUSI 110 , THEA 110 , PHIL 110 , HIST 131 , HIST 132 , ECON 251 , BIOL 110 , BIOL 122 , CHEM 110 , CHEM 111 , CHEM 112 , (or PHYS 121 & PHYS 121L ) Total Degree Credits: 60-61

Students accepted into this selective admission program must follow the required course sequence outlined below in order to remain in and complete the program. Students who for any reason are unable to follow this course sequence must contact an academic advisor. Spring 2

- ENER-141 Introduction to Disposal Well Operations 0.5 cr.
