Tribal Energy Management, A.A.S.

This Associates of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree in Tribal Energy Management will provide students with a concentration of tribal energy business, and management/leadership education.  Students are also given options to increase their knowledge in the Energy and Safety industry.  Students may take General Education and Energy core curriculum online.  The Tribal Energy Management (TEMS) courses are face-to-face, as well as, some of the School of Energy technical curriculum.  Please contact the school advisor for help with curriculum planning.

Energy Pathway Core Requirements: 15 Credits


The Energy Core courses are online. Students may earn a certificate in Foundations of Energy Production by completing the General Education requirements (15 cr.) and the Energy Core requirements (15 cr.).  Select from the list below 5 courses for a total of 15 credits.  See advisor for program prerequisites.

Program Core Requirements: 15 Credits


Tribal Energy Management courses are offered face-to-face.  Students may earn a certificate in Tribal Energy Management by completing the General Education requirements (15-16 cr.) and the Tribal Energy Management requirements (15 cr.).

Technical Core Requirements: 15-16 Credits - SELECT ONE OPTION


Students must select one option under the Technical Core Requirements to complete the A.A.S. in Tribal Energy Management.  The technical core courses will  provide students a minor concentration in an energy technical field.  Students may earn an additional A.A.S. degree in a technical field by taking another semester of coursework.  Please contact a School of Energy advisor for additional information.

TOTAL DEGREE REQUIREMENTS: 61-67 Credits

MATH-1170  was previously a 3 credit course. A student who previously completed the 3 credit MATH-2110  successfully has satisfied the MATH requirement.
