Instrumentation Controls and Electrical Technology, A.A.S.

This program is designed to provide students with fundamental instrumentation and control knowledge and skills. Students who have a basic knowledge in instrumentation and control are in demand in a diverse energy industry. This program will cover industrial measurement, process control, AC & DC circuits, motors & controls, safety, and the National Electric Code.

Note: The student must earn a grade of ‘C’ or higher in all courses to obtain the Instrumentation Controls and Electrical Technology A.A.S. degree.

SJC First Year Experience Requirement: 3 credits

General Education Requirements: 15-16 credits

Energy Core Curriculum: 15 credits

Students may select 15 credits from the list below. Instrumentation students are recommended to take these pathway courses: ENGY-120 , ENGY-121 , and ENGY-130 .

Technical Curriculum: 32 credits

TOTAL DEGREE REQUIREMENTS: 62-66 credits
