Health Care Certificate - CNA Unit Administrative Assistant

The Health Care Certificate-Nurse Aide Certification builds upon the fundamental skills in the Health Care Certificate and prepares the student to function in multiple roles in the clinical environment.  The fundamental Health Care Certificate includes basic workplace competencies: skills, values, inter-professional communication, and cooperation necessary to perform effectively in an entry level position in the health care workplace.  The additional course prepares the student to sit for the written and practical examinations to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).

The Health Care Certificate-Patient Care Unit Assistant Secretary Certification builds upon the fundamental skills in Health Care Certificate.  This program prepares the student to efficiently work as a member of a health care team with an emphasis in proper records management and use of technology.  The fundamental Health Care Certificate includes basic workplace competencies: skills, values, inter-professional communication, and cooperation necessary to perform effectively in an entry level position in the health care workplace.  The additional course prepares the student to sit for the written and practical examinations to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
