The Associate of Science degree in Engineering Technology is intended to prepare students for transfer to a four-year baccalaureate granting institution in Engineering Technology. Those wishing to transfer to a baccalaureate granting institution and pursue a degree program are strongly encouraged to check with their advisor and carefully coordinate their coursework at San Juan College with the requirements of the transfer institution.

SJC First Year Experience Requirement: 3 credits
Program Proficiencies and/or Prerequisites: 4 credits
Students’ Mathematics placement will determine their starting point in the Math sequence, beginning with MATH-1215 Intermediate Algebra. Students who place into MATH-1215 will need to complete an additional 4 credits. General Education Requirements: 33 credits
Social/Behavioral Science, Humanities, Fine Arts
Core Course Requirements: 13 credits
Engineering Technology Electives: 14 credits
Choose 14 credits from the courses listed below: TOTAL DEGREE REQUIREMENTS: 64-67 credits
