This certificate is designed for students who are committed to their writing and is ideal for those who are planning to apply to a B.A. or M.F.A. writing program in the future or for those who simply wish to develop a portfolio of writing.

Note: Student must earn a ‘C’ or higher in all certificate coursework.

Core Course Requirements: 6 credits

Literature Courses: 6 credits

Choose 6 credits from the following:

Creative Writing Courses: 9 credits

Choose 9 credits from the following:

Capstone: 3 credits

ENGL-2999 Capstone 3 cr.

TOTAL CREDIT REQUIREMENTS: 24 credits
