CDLT-175 Truck Load Methods

2 cr.

The student will be introduced to effective methods in loading and securing equipment and containers for long haul trips associated with CDL driving skills. The class will provide students with skills relevant to weight shifting and level loading concepts in addition to understanding height laws for trailer loads. Students will learn loading methods related to backing in to a dock and side loading. Students will learn how to secure loads with coverings for maximum safety during travel.
