CDLT-174 Logistics and Transportation

2 cr.

Students will be taught the New Mexico Commercial Driving License (CDL) rules and regulations, inclusive of classroom and hands on driving in a San Juan college truck with other students. Students will be required to learn skills in backing, turning, stopping, and load logistics. In addition, students will be introduced to simulated driving in various conditions and highway driving scenarios.
Prerequisites: Students must pass a DOT medical exam, drug test, and have a clear driving record within the first week of entry into the classroom and driving program.
