MATH-121 Mathematics for the Elementary Teacher

This course offers an in-depth look at the representations of rational numbers, including base-ten and decimal numbers, integers, fractions, arithmetic operations, and number properties, using student activities and investigations. Problem solving is emphasized throughout. Prerequisites: MATH-096 or higher, minimum grade C, or appropriate Math Accuplacer Score.
