PTAP-2211 Neurological Rehabilitation 3 This course will build upon the knowledge of neuroanatomy and patient care skills and focus on evidence-based neurological rehabilitation approaches to assist the client/patient across the lifespan to gain functional movement and, in turn, improve their quality of life. Students will learn to analyze and treat clients/patients with movement dysfunction caused by neurological insult and follow the plan of care; perform data collection, monitor patient health, illness, and response to treatment; interpret data for quality assurance; and complete accurate documentation following legal and ethical guidelines. Students will also learn to empower the client/patient to be actively engaged in their functional recovery.
