FIRE-266 Fire Investigator 1 3

Students will obtain basic knowledge and skills required to investigate a fire scene as to the cause and the location of a suspicious fire. The student will learn and use the scientific method in the collection of evidence and the chain of custody in the handling of the evidence. This course is taught in accordance of NFPA 1033, Professional Qualifications for Fire Investigator
Prerequisites: FIRE-166 and Evidence of a Background Check
