FIRE-166 Introduction to Fire Origin and Cause 2

This 32‐hour course is a hands‐on course, designed to give the firefighter a
comprehensive understanding of fire investigation. This course is designed to teach students the techniques of determining fire origin and cause. Subjects include Fire Behavior, Building Construction, Building Safety, Scene Search, Arson and Scene Indicators, Arson Determination, Evidence Detection and Gathering, and Fatal Fires.

Prerequisites: FIRE-112 and Evidence of Background Check
