MLTS-180 Intro to Waived and POC Testing 2

Introduces the student to the scope of practice and laboratory skills needed by the medical assistant or advanced phlebotomist in a physician office or point of care setting. Students will apply basic concepts used in the medical laboratory including terminology, waived instrumentation and tests, safety basic statistics, and quality assurance.
Prerequisites: ENGL-099, RDNG-099 and MATH-095
