The Associate of Science degree in Engineering Technology is intended to prepare students for transfer to a four-year baccalaureate granting institution in Engineering Technology. Those wishing to transfer to a baccalaureate granting institution and pursue a degree program are strongly encouraged to check with their advisor and carefully coordinate their coursework at San Juan College with the requirements of the transfer institution.

Program Proficiencies and/or Prerequisites
Students’ Accuplacer score for Mathematics will determine their placement in the Math sequence, beginning with MATH-115 Intermediate Algebra-Applications. Students who place into MATH-115 will need to complete an addition 4 credits.
General Education Requirements: 33 credits
Social/Behavioral Science, Humanities, Fine Arts
Core Requirements: 13 credits
Engineering Technology Electives: 14 credits
