The Associate of Science degree in Biology is intended to prepare students for transfer to a four-year baccalaureate granting institution. Students will take courses that will provide an introduction to the many specialties within the field of biology. Those wishing to transfer to a baccalaureate granting institution and pursue a bachelor’s degree program are strongly encouraged to check with their advisor and carefully coordinate their coursework at San Juan College with the requirements of the transfer institution.
A student must earn a grade of C or higher in all courses to count toward the degree.
