Health Care Certificate - Fundamental Skills

The Fundamental Skills in Health Care Certificate is a set of core interdisciplinary courses, preparing students for the health care environment. The certificate includes basic workplace competencies: skills, values, inter-professional communication and cooperation necessary to perform effectively in a beginning level position in the health care workplace. Successful completion of core courses may be considered in the health science program application process. Skills attained may be used in health science careers or for personal interest.
