Program Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this program, students will be able to:
- Demonstrate safety awareness and professional communication.
- Apply electrical principles to industrial systems.
- Calibrate instrumentation and apply PID control for process operations.
- Implement motor control and basic PLC systems for industrial automation.
This program is designed to provide students with fundamental instrumentation and control knowledge and skills. Students who have a basic knowledge in instrumentation and control are in demand in a diverse energy industry. This program will cover industrial measurement, process control, AC & DC circuits, motors & controls, safety, and the National Electric Code.
Note: The student must earn a grade of ‘C’ or higher in all courses to obtain the Instrumentation Controls and Electrical Technology A.A.S. degree.
