Program Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of this program, students will be able to:

1. Configure and troubleshoot basic computer hardware, software and network systems.
2. Evaluate and recommend suitable IT solutions in business infrastructure for various requirements.
3. Determine and apply effective professional communication techniques in both written and oral forms.

The Network Support Certificate program is designed to prepare students for a career in the field of networking with a focus on installing, configuring, and administering a Microsoft client computer; managing and maintaining a Microsoft Windows server environment, implementing, and managing a network infrastructure; and troubleshooting PC software issues and network connectivity problems.

Note:  A student must earn a grade of ‘C’ or better in all courses to count towards the certificate.
