Program Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this program, students will be able to:
- Configure and troubleshoot basic computer hardware, software and network systems.
- Analyze security vulnerabilities and respond to security threats.
- Evaluate and recommend suitable IT solutions in business infrastructure for various requirements.
- Determine and apply effective professional communication techniques in both written and oral forms.
- Analyze and Implement strategies to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities while adhering to ethical and legal standards.
The Cybersecurity Support Certificate is an advanced certificate designed to prepare students for a career in the emerging field of computer security by providing experience in the areas of business continuity, computer system design, contingency planning, data integrity, risk assessment and mitigation techniques, security investigation, troubleshooting, and disaster recovery.
Note: Student must earn a grade of ‘C’ or higher in all courses to obtain an IT-Cybersecurity Support Certificate.
