Program Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of this program, students will be able to:

1. Make informed business decisions.
2. Create methods for delivering value and managing relationships with stakeholders.
3. Develop plans for effective use of business resources to maintain operations and achieve growth.
4. Evaluate resources used to gather and assess information for business decision-making.
5. Integrate management skills to create working relationships that serve organizational goals.

The Associate of Arts degree in Business Administration is intended for transfer to a four-year baccalaureate granting institution.  Students intending to transfer or pursue a particular course of study are strongly encouraged to check with their advisor and carefully coordinate their coursework at San Juan College with the requirements of the transfer institution.  In general, however, it is suggested that students complete the New Mexico Transfer Module as outlined below. 

Note:  A grade of ‘C’ or better is required of all courses in this program of study.
