Upon completion of this program, students will be able to:

The Associate of Arts degree in Human Services will provide students with principles, knowledge, and skills required to begin a career in the field of human services. Students wishing to transfer to a baccalaureate granting institution and pursue a degree in Human Services are strongly encouraged to check with their advisor and coordinate their course work at San Juan College with the requirements of the transfer institution. In general, however, it is suggested that students complete the New Mexico Transfer Module as outlined below.
Note: Student must earn a grade of ‘C’ or higher in all courses to obtain the Human Services-Generalist Studies A.A. degree.
