This program is designed to provide students career opportunities for entry level positions as operators of power generation, natural gas, refinery, petrochemical, food and beverage, an optional track for water processing and water utilities is included, manufacturing and pharmaceutical processes. Process operators are employed by plants that produce products such as electricity, commodity gases (natural gas, propane, butane), gasoline, diesel fuel, industrial chemicals, plastics, ultra pure water, and pharmaceuticals as well as various food, beverage, and consumer products.
A hands-on approach along with process theory presented by instructors with industry experience will thoroughly prepare graduates for entry level operator positions.
Note: A student must earn a grade of ‘C’ or higher for courses to count toward a degree.
