The Mechanical Drafting and Design degree program is intended to provide the students with a firm mathematical and scientific foundation on which to build a high degree of technological expertise in manufacturing and engineering technology. These are skills associated with mechanical related positions in industry, engineering technology, and with the government. A strong background in general education courses enhances the student’s understanding of society and to make progress in his/her field of choice more accessible. Note: Student must earn a grade of ‘C’ or higher in all courses required for the program in order to receive a Drafting and Design Technology-Mechanical A.A.S. degree.
