The Associate of Arts degree in Secondary Education will provide students with principles, knowledge, and skills required to begin a career working with children in the public school system (grades 7-12). Students will participate in field experiences to gain practical experience in a 7-12 school setting. The Secondary Education degree is designed to transfer to a baccalaureate granting institution in Secondary Education licensure pathways.
Note: Student must earn a grade of ‘C’ or higher in all coursework to earn a Secondary Education A.A. degree.
