The Diesel Off-Highway Certificate program is designed to introduce a student to the field of heavy-duty off-highway diesel technology applications. Students will learn to work on a variety of heavy equipment systems. Successful completion of the certificate will prepare a student for a career as an entry-level Diesel Technician troubleshooting and repairing medium/heavy duty off-highway equipment for a fleet, or dealer, or construction company. A student can start the degree program in any semester.
Notes:
- A student can start the degree program in any semester. It is advised, but not required, that students take either ENGL-1210 or MATH-1170 in the summer term prior to starting the Diesel Technology Program.
- A grade of ‘C’ or better is required in all courses to receive the degree. Co-requisite classes must be taken together. Attendance is 25 percent of the final grade.

Social/Behavioral Science:
Program Core Requirements: 36 Credits
Off-Highway Core Requirements: 15 Credits
TOTAL DEGREE REQUIREMENTS: 67-68 Credits
Note(s):
DISL-210 and DISL-211 MUST be taken together. Suggested Course Sequence for Full-Time Students:
