Diesel - On-Highway Certificate

The Diesel On-Highway Certificate program is designed to introduce a student to the field of heavy duty on-highway diesel technology applications. Students will learn to work on a variety of Class 7 and 8 heavy duty truck systems. Successful completion of the certificate will prepare a student for a career as an entry level diesel technician troubleshooting and repairing medium/heavy duty on-highway trucks for a fleet or dealer.
Notes:
- Student can start the certificate program in any semester.
- Co-requisite classes must be taken together.
- Attendace is 25 percent of the final grade.
- Student must earn a grade of ‘C’ or higher in all courses to receive a Diesel - On-Highway Certificate.

On-Highway Core Requirements: 16 Credits
TOTAL CERTIFICATE REQUIREMENTS: 52 Credits
