The Associate of Science degree in Mathematics is intended to prepare students for transfer to a four-year baccalaureate granting institution. Those wishing to transfer to a baccalaureate granting institution and pursue a bachelor’s degree program are strongly encouraged to check with their advisor and carefully coordinate their coursework at San Juan College with the requirements of the transfer institution.
Note: Student must earn a grade of ‘C’ or higher in all courses to earn a Mathematics A.S. degree.

Students who place at the beginning of the Math sequence will need to complete 11 additional credit hours of coursework to complete the degree requirements.
