The Associate of Science degree in General Engineering is intended to prepare students for transfer to a four-year baccalaureate granting institution. Those wishing to transfer to a baccalaureate granting institution and pursue a degree program are strongly encouraged to check with their advisor and carefully coordinate their coursework at San Juan College with the requirements of the transfer institution.
Read the current catalog of your intended transfer degree institution to take the most appropriate courses for each engineering specialty. Not all courses in the General Engineering A.S. will transfer to some schools, or in some specialties. Note: Student must earn a grade of ‘C’ or higher in all courses to obtain an Engineering A.S. degree.
