An advanced laboratory course which focuses on AEMT and NM EMT-Intermediate skills development through simulations and scenarios with an emphasis on assessment, hands-on skills and teamwork in the patient care environment.

Prerequisites: Acceptance into the AEMT program. High school diploma or GED; Current NM EMT licensure or National Registry EMT certification valid through the duration of the program; Current AHA Basic Life Support or comparable healthcare provider CPR certification valid through the duration of the program.
