HITP-1310 Intro to Health Ins and Rev Cycle 3

This course introduces students to the role of health insurance payers in the healthcare reimbursement process and revenue cycle management. Students learn how coverage verification, prior authorizations, claims processing, payment posting, and appeals impact provider reimbursement. Emphasis is placed on documentation requirements, billing standards, and payer policies that support compliance and reduce financial risk.
