SLPA-1110 Intro to Speech and Language Disorders 3

This course will provide an introduction to the various aspects of communication and its disorders as well as an overview of the fields of speech pathology and audiology. Assignments, group activities, discussions, and case examples will be used to illustrate various communication disorders. Academic writing, research, and interdisciplinary work will be introduced. The process required to obtain licensure and certification will also be discussed.
